On April 1st are invited to join
a daylong meditation retreat with Jeff Carreira…
…VIRTUALLY via video conferencing.
You will be able to join the entire day’s program from the comfort of home.
(see below for the exciting details of virtual participation)
The reason I am so passionate about the practice of meditation is because I know from my own experience that with gentle but consistent focus it can dramatically liberate you from the constraints of the current paradigm, and each time you experience this profound freedom of being your confidence and conviction in the process of awakening grows.Jeff Carreira
Meditation is a time honored means of transcending the mental reactivity and negative habits of mind that too often keep us bound up in our current realities and unavailable for more.
During this retreat you will learn and practice a radically transformative form of meditation called The Practice of No Problem. Jeff Carreira has been developing this unique articulation of meditation for the past decade and thousands of people from around the world have used it to enter profound states of liberated awareness.
The Practice of No Problem drew me into a richer experience than I’ve ever had and I’m seeing everything differently.H. Gillian, Boston Massachusetts
“I now understand the power of meditation in a much deeper way than I ever have.T. Reynolds, San Francisco, California
“This meditation is utterly reorienting in the best, deepest, and most liberating way.D.Gold, North Carolina
When you meditate in this way the only instruction you need to follow is to have no problem. That means that no matter what happens and no matter what you experience, you allow it to be OK the way it is. Ultimately having no problem in meditation means doing nothing. When you don’t have a problem, you don’t need to do anything because nothing is wrong.
This deceptively simple technique turns out to be more challenging than it appears, but if you give your focus and attention to it the results can be nothing less than miraculous.
As you sit in meditation you inevitably find yourself struggling against unconscious habits designed to manipulate and control your experience into whatever you think it is supposed to be. Eventually you realize that all of your effort to shape your experience is not doing nothing. It’s just more manipulation and control and you cab simply stop all of it and just let everything be exactly the way it is. This is the moment of profound existential release and spiritual liberation.
During this retreat you will receive all of the instruction, guidance and opportunity to practice that you need to learn how to consistently find the inner freedom that is always right here in the middle of the experience you’re already having.
As you learn to embrace the way things already are you will find that your energy is liberated, your attention is liberated, and you become profoundly available to experience things that you couldn’t imagine before.
This is a space I sometimes call ‘betweeness’ because we have released one set of mental habits and haven’t yet picked up another. You will return to this open and receptive awareness over and over again and rest in it until you feel comfortable there.
Details of Virtual Participation
As a virtual attendee you will join the retreat via video conferencing.
The video images of all virtual retreat participants will be projected against the back wall of the meditation room so that you will be present with the group of live participants. You will be able to see and talk to Jeff, and he will be able to see and talk to you. It is the next best thing to sitting in the room – and you can participate without traveling beyond your home!
Prior to the retreat you will receive a detailed set of instructions for how to set up a perfect retreat space at home and what to do to create the most powerful atmosphere for your day.
During the retreat there will be a Teaching Assistant monitoring your virtual participation. The TA will be available at all times to assist you and guide your participation. In this way you will be provided with all the support you need so that your retreat experience will be as amazing as possible.
There are only 40 spaces available for virtual participation and we are anticipating high demand, so if you want to join the Daylong Retreat on April 1st virtually we suggest you register today.
Once the retreat begins our time will be split between periods of instruction and guidance as well as periods of silent practice. Using this simple and effective orientation toward meditation Jeff has guided thousands of people on journeys beyond the confines of fear and self-concern into the expansive liberated awareness that is our true home.
Jeff is passionate about defining a new way of being in the world that will move us from our current paradigm of separation and isolation into an emerging paradigm of unity and wholeness.
