You are invited to let go of your mind
during two days of stillness and depth with Jeff Carreira.
The reason I am so passionate about the practice of meditation is because I know that with gentle and consistent focus it will dramatically liberate us from the constraints that bind us, and each experience of profound freedom that you have will strengthen your confidence in the miracle of awakening.Jeff Carreira
Meditation is a time honored means of transcending the mental reactivity and negative habits of mind that too often keep us bound up in our current realities and unavailable for more.
During this retreat you will learn and practice a radically transformative form of meditation called The Practice of No Problem. Jeff Carreira has been developing this unique articulation of meditation for the past decade and thousands of people from around the world have used it to enter profound states of liberated awareness.
The Practice of No Problem drew me into a richer experience than I’ve ever had and I’m seeing everything differently.H. Gillian, Boston Massachusetts
“I now understand the power of meditation in a much deeper way than I ever have.T. Reynolds, San Francisco, California
“This meditation is utterly reorienting in the best, deepest, and most liberating way.D.Gold, North Carolina
When you meditate in this way the only instruction you need to follow is to have no problem. That means that no matter what happens and no matter what you experience, you allow it to be OK the way it is. Ultimately having no problem in meditation means doing nothing. When you don’t have a problem, you don’t need to do anything because nothing is wrong.
This deceptively simple technique turns out to be more challenging than it appears, but if you give your focus and attention to it the results can be nothing less than miraculous.
As you sit in meditation you inevitably find yourself struggling against unconscious habits designed to manipulate and control your experience into whatever you think it is supposed to be. Eventually you realize that all of your effort to shape your experience is not doing nothing. It’s just more manipulation and control and you cab simply stop all of it and just let everything be exactly the way it is. This is the moment of profound existential release and spiritual liberation.
During this retreat you will receive all of the instruction, guidance and opportunity to practice that you need to learn how to consistently find the inner freedom that is always right here in the middle of the experience you’re already having.
As you learn to embrace the way things already are you will find that your energy is liberated, your attention is liberated, and you become profoundly available to experience things that you couldn’t imagine before.
This is a space I sometimes call ‘betweeness’ because we have released one set of mental habits and haven’t yet picked up another. You will return to this open and receptive awareness over and over again and rest in it until you feel comfortable there.
Our time on retreat will be split between periods of instruction and guidance as well as periods of silent practice. Long time meditators are sure to have new insights and breakthrough experiences and beginning meditators will have all the support they need to enter into deep states of meditative silence.

About Jeff Carreira
Jeff Carreira is a contemporary mystic, a spiritual guide and a philosopher who teaches meditation and transformative philosophy throughout the world.
As a spiritual guide, Jeff offers retreats and courses leading individuals in a form of meditation called The Practice of No Problem. Using this simple and effective orientation toward meditation Jeff has guided thousands of people on journeys beyond the confines of fear and self-concern into the expansive liberated awareness that is our true home.
Jeff is passionate about defining a new way of being in the world that will move us from our current paradigm of separation and isolation into an emerging paradigm of unity and wholeness. He actively explores, writes about and teaches some of the innovative and new perspectives in the domains of spirituality, consciousness and human development.
Jeff has created a series of courses teaching Transformative Philosophy that introduce people to ideas that can radically shift their perspective. In all of his teaching work he empowers people to question their experience so deeply that previously unquestioned assumptions fall away creating the space for new understanding to emerge.
One of the most universally admired characteristics of Jeff’s teaching style is that he takes the position of a pathfinder, traveling the journey with those he teaches, skillfully sharing his understanding and supporting others to grow into their own discoveries while always leaving the space for people to come to their own conclusions based on their own deepest experience.
Jeff is the author of six books including, The Miracle of Meditation, The Practice of No Problem, Radical Inclusivity and The Soul of a New Self.
